The Castle of Torrechiara reopens

After the earthquake of December 23, 2008, a number of partially restored halls on the ground floor of the Torrechiara Castle were re-opened to the public.
In these halls the voice of Renata Tebaldi accompanies the visitors.
Once the restoration of the Castle is complete, the exhibition will return to it.

The 18th April of this year, on the occasion of the inauguration of the exhibition “Renata Tebaldi profound and infinite”, the San Carlo Theatre in Naples dedicated  the Green Room, normally used for musical rehearsals, to the unforgettable singer.

Castello di TorrechiaraThe inauguration of “A Castle for the Queen”, thanks to the Regio Theatre of Parma Foundation.

October 14, 2008, marks the date desired for the opening of the rooms of the Castle that hold the “Renata Tebaldi – “Profonda e Infinita” (“Profound and Infinite”) Exhibition.

For the occasion groups of Tebaldi admirers from Milan, Piacenza, Torino, Sabbionetta arrived and in the midst of the general emotion, the halls of the Castle were finally opened.
